Providing education and injury prevention are hallmarks of the Center's mission. Lectures addressing a variety of health related issues and topics are available at the Center on a continual basis. Also, support groups are sponsored by the center such as Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, and Fibromyalgia / Chronic Pain. Schuylkill Rehabilitation Center is a not-for-profit organization. As a partner with other agencies Schuylkill Rehabilitation Center works to implement positive changes in our community. Schuylkill Rehabilitation Center continually addresses the rehabilitative needs of the people in Schuylkill County. In this continual process Schuylkill Rehabilitation Center has worked to achieve such high standards that only a few other out patient rehabilitation facilities in the United States can compare.
The SRC team provides educational seminars to other professionals, local high school and youth coaches, industrial facilities, and the general public on a variety of topics such as common injuries / illnesses, first-aid, coping with a disability, and injury prevention. Continuing education and learning is ongoing and facility supported for all staff members at Schuylkill Rehabilitation Center. This is done to provide our patients and community with the latest and most effective rehabilitative skills and knowledge.
