Schuylkill Rehabilitation Center offers psychological services to patients who have been part of the physical rehabilitation process. A traumatic injury or illness not only affects a person’s body, but it can affect the whole person, their family, and the recovery process.
Schuylkill Rehabilitation Center’s Psychologist will work with the person, the therapy team and the family in a team approach. The persons overall well being and independence is promoted by developing life strategies. The Psychologist will assist the person directly to adapt these behaviors and lifestyles, which contribute to overall health and fitness, and restore dignity and control.
